Since we are no longer in an election cycle, it is now possible to say without fear of contradiction that Bowen Island is harmonious - completely devoid of rivalries, feuds, or differences of any significance at all.

The men of the Bowen Island Men’s Fastpitch League opened the 2015 softball season with all the style, silliness, and occasional grace we have come to expect in the early days of a fresh, young season.

One-hundred gymnasts from the Sea to Sky corridor including Whistler Gymnastics, Pemberton gymnastics, Vancouver Britannia gymnastics competed at Bowen Island Gymnastic’s Invitational on April 18.

Local gymnast Eve Sentlinger is one of BC’s outstanding athletes in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics. Five years ago Eve got her start in this sport at the Bowen Island Gymnastics Club under coach Lisa Brougham.

Spring is here, the birds and the links are calling! The Bowen Island Women’s League is starting up another season of golf with a coffee party at the Clubhouse on Thursday, April 2 at 10:00 a.m.

It almost didn’t happen. We rarely get off the rock, and it seems to take a village to get us abroad, but at the last possible minute, it came together: we were all going to go to town to buy new running shoes.
